We sure have had some busy weeks lately! This week is no different. As you know, this week is conference week! Students have been working hard to prepare work samples to show you how much they are learning and growing so far in third grade. Before you come to your child's conference, please make sure that you download the QR code reader app on your phone. When you arrive, you can scan the QR code that your child has created for you in order to hear a special message that they have prepared for you. You don't want to miss this! I look forward to seeing all of you this week to discuss your child's progress and goals. :)
This week, we will also have our second math test of the year. This math test will cover what we have learned during this topic of multiplication. Please make sure to review this unit's skills with your child in order to prepare for the test on Thursday. There will be review pages coming home tonight and tomorrow that your child can use to review. We will also spend the next two days reviewing in class. Students have been working hard throughout this whole topic; I am confident that they will succeed on the test this week!
In writing, students have been working hard as they learn about how to write personal narratives. Please be sure to ask your child what he/she has been learning. They may even share some of their creative narrative ideas with you! :)
