Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Today conference forms came home with your child. The conference forms will tell you when your parent-teacher conference is scheduled. If you have a conflict with your conference or need to ask any questions about your conference time, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 20th we have our first math test of the year. Please make sure that you review for this test with your child. A practice test came home today that they should complete for homework in order to ensure that they are ready for tomorrow's test.
Tomorrow is also picture day! If you are interested in ordering pictures, please don't forget to send the picture day form in with your child tomorrow. I can't wait to see their sweet outfits and fancy hair! :)
We have now wrapped up our first unit of Social Studies. The social studies tests were graded and came home with your child today. As we rotate between Social Studies and Science, today we started our first unit of science. We are learning about ecosystems, communities, and habitats. Be sure to ask your child about what they are learning throughout this unit. It is a fun one!
When we start this next unit of math, Topic 2, the online homework that I explained at Back-to-School Night will become an option for students. Students know how to log in to their Pearson Realize accounts and will be coming home with their username and passwords for these accounts this week. Online homework is always optional; however, I highly recommend giving it a try! :)
